In Drop 05 of our Making Old Things New Again series, we highlight the incredible transformations from our Fabricoat community.
Emily from @life_at22 picked up a second hand chair for £10 and gave it a stunning makeover with our warm and cosy Dark Brown Fabric Paint.
"Well she’s had a make over. Fabricoat is a company that specialises in paint for fabric and it’s lovely to paint with. I chose dark brown which is a gorgeous rich colour, perfect for autumn."
Top 3 tips from Emily when painting fabric:
- Working in sections will save you time. Spray water on each section rather than the entire project in one go.
- Allow the correct time for drying before using the chair.
- Take your time. It’s a satisfying job and can be a really enjoyable project!
